Graham Jeffress, FAIG RPGeo (Mineral Exploration), FAusIMM
Graham is a geologist with over 35 years' experience in exploration geology and management. He has worked in exploration (ranging from grassroots reconnaissance through to brownfields, near-mine, and resource definition), project evaluation and mining in a variety of geological terrains, commodities, and mineralisation styles within Australia and internationally. His current focus is independent technical reports (IGR, CPR, QPR, ITE) and valuations of mineral assets. Graham has worked for large companies, juniors , government and been self-employed. He has worked in consulting for the past 15 years for predominantly small companies.
Graham was a Federal Councillor/board member (including Company Secretary and Treasurer) of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists for 11 years and joined the Joint Ore Reserves Committee
in 2014, stepping into the chair role in 2026.

Lynn sits on the JORC Executive and is Deputy Chair of CRIRSCO, the international body governing Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve reporting codes.
She is a geologist and mining executive with more than 30 years’ experience across operations, exploration, consulting and governance. For the last six years she led Rio Tinto's group Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve assurance, accountable for the governance and controls behind public reporting under the ASX, LSE and SEC.
Lynn has a Bachelor of Science from UWA as well as Graduate Certificates in Geostatistics and Corporate Finance. She is a recipient of the 2014 Minerals Council of Australia’s Women in Mining Scholarship for the Australian Institute of Company Director’s Course and was awarded a place on the 100 Inspirational Women in Mining list in 2018.

Dr Daniel Goldstein is a Chartered Professional and Registered Professional Geotechnical Engineer and Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Rio Tinto, based in Perth, Western Australia. He leads geotechnical risk and assurance frameworks for large-scale open pit mining operations. Daniel holds a PhD from Curtin University’s Western Australia School of Mines, specializing in machine learning and real time drilling data for orebody characterization. He is a Senior RioExpert and an award winning contributor to industry innovation, professional societies, major conferences and academic teaching in geomechanics and mining engineering.

Ivy Chen is a mineral resources governance specialist. She is the founder of GeoReg Mining and Compliance, providing advice and support for the public discussion of mineral resources and their prospectivity and value, in line with requirements of the JORC & VALMIN Codes, the corporations’ act and listing rules in Australia, and other jurisdictions. Ivy was ASIC’s national advisor for geology and mining from 2009-2015.
In a career of over 30 years in the mining industry, Ivy has completed and supervised mineral resource estimates in gold, nickel, manganese, iron ore and lithium, as well as reviewed base metals and industrial minerals estimates prepared in accordance with Australian and international standards. Ivy has managed consulting teams for major consultancies, and in-house mineral resource estimation teams. She is a presenter in the AusIMM’s on-line VALMIN course, and has been a contributor to the JORC course.
Ivy was a member of the VALMIN Committee from 2015 – 2026, administering Australia’s minerals valuation code, the WA government’s Mining and Petroleum Advisory Committee, the WA Investment Attraction Fund Governance Board and a past-director of the AusIMM, representing mining professionals in Australia and internationally.
Ivy is a director for Horizon Power, WA’s regional electricity company, deputy-chair of Football West, on the board of the Football Futures Foundation (Football West’s charity arm), and a life member of Multicultural Futures, an NFP supporting migrants and refugees. She was on the board of Battery Minerals Limited (ASX:BAT, now known as Waratah Minerals Limited (WTM) ) from January 2018- June 2019.

Marcelo Cortes is a geoscience leader with over 25 years of international experience spanning mineral exploration, mine geology, resource estimation, and corporate-level technical governance. He holds a Diploma in Geo-Mining-Metallurgy and a Magister in Economic Geology and is recognised for applying rigorous geological judgment to assess investment opportunities across a wide range of commodities, with a strong focus on copper and other critical minerals.
Marcelo has extensive experience leading technical reviews, geological evaluations, and due diligence processes in support of acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, and strategic investment decisions. He is skilled at translating complex geological information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
A recognised expert in Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves reporting, Marcelo has led company-wide implementations of major reporting frameworks and established robust governance and assurance processes underpinning public disclosures. His experience includes advising Competent Persons and Qualified Persons, overseeing annual declaration cycles, and strengthening internal controls to ensure consistency, transparency, and regulatory compliance across global portfolios.
Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong ability to evaluate opportunities across the full mining value chain, integrating technical excellence with commercial considerations. A collaborative and inclusive leader, Marcelo has worked across diverse, cross-cultural environments in the Americas and Australia and is a trusted advisor to both technical teams and corporate leadership.

John Graindorge is a geologist with over 25 years of experience spanning operations, consulting and resource estimation. Throughout his career, he has been interested by the challenge of turning complex geological data into practical decisions that create value for mining operations. Today, as Senior Manager – Metallurgy and Resource Estimation at Fortescue, he leads teams responsible for Mineral Resource estimation, metallurgical prediction and technical governance in mineral processing across the company's iron ore business. An experienced Competent Person, John is passionate about improving the integration of geology, metallurgy and mine planning, and bringing transparency and practicality to public reporting.

Glen has more than 40 years of experience in the mining industry, with a career spanning technical services coordination, mine evaluation, and feasibility studies across a broad range of commodities and project settings. He has developed extensive expertise in integrating geological, mining, and economic inputs to support robust mine planning and investment decisions.
Glen has acted as a Competent Person for the reporting of Ore Reserves for a diverse portfolio of open pit projects, including iron ore, gold, copper, tin, lithium, coal, and phosphate rock. His work supports Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve reporting in compliance with internationally recognised standards, with a strong focus on transparency and technical integrity.
He contributes to professional education through the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, where he presents the Ore Reserve module for the AusIMM online Professional Certificate in JORC Code Reporting. He also serves on the AusIMM Chartered Professional Program Committee, contributing to the governance and ongoing development of professional standards and certification pathways within the industry.
Throughout his career, Glen has held roles in technical services coordination and feasibility studies, leading multidisciplinary teams and aligning geological, engineering, and economic inputs to optimise project outcomes and support investment decisions.
