Biography

Darren’s WHSE experience spans >30 years across a wide section of industries including Mining, Manufacturing and Retail. He has an Honors degree in Geology from La Trobe University, a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Hazard Management from Federation University and has worked as an HSE Manager and prior to that as Chief Geologist within the Mining sector in Australia. Darren is currently operating his company EHS Resolutions. As a WHS professional, Darren has particular expertise in the successful creation and development of safety systems at the operating level and understands the WHS needs of both management and front line employees. He is a qualified Principal OHS auditor having audited around Australia and Internationally. Darren developed the 'Six Principles of Safety' model and is passionate about safety performance and how it can drive the organisational, cultural and behavioural changes required to achieve sustainable safety performance improvement.

Biography

Caroline is a geotechnical engineer and geologist who loves solving interesting problems with stakeholders from studies through to operations. She has worked across geotechnical design, resource modelling, and a range of technical site roles, and has a strong appreciation for the importance of sound orebody knowledge and collaboration across the value chain. Caroline's experience is backed by Bachelor’s degrees in both Engineering and Geology, and a Master of Geology.
