David Seaman is a highly experienced metallurgy professional with over twenty years of expertise in copper, gold, and base metal processing. His career is marked by a consistent track record of optimizing operational performance through meticulous plant diagnostics and data-driven strategies. David is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in flotation with a PhD in this field from the JKMRC. David currently works at Newmont where his primary responsibility is in the technology and innovation space closely linked to process operations and the broader value-chain from mining to tails storage.

Stephen Durkin is CEO of AusIMM, the peak body and trusted voice for professionals working in the resources sector. Before joining AusIMM, Stephen was CEO of Engineers Australia (EA) for five years. Stephen's leadership focuses on building high performance organisations by fostering an innovative culture and supporting teams to collaborate and thrive. At both AusIMM and EA, Stephen has led transformations of these long-standing associations to be more contemporary and financially sustainable, with a stronger external brand.

Katherin has held senior roles at Shell, BHP and Woodside and is an accomplished executive in the energy sector. She has a deep understanding of the practical challenges faced by companies in the energy transition, and brings a practical approach to finding solutions. She recently joined BHP's Global Exploration group and its flagship XPlor program, to work with early-stage mineral exploration companies in developing critical minerals. Katherin is a director at Synergy, on the Net Zero Australia steering committee, and is a board member of the Curtin Institute of Energy Transition.

Rob Coleman is CEO of Core Resources, an integrated metallurgical laboratory and process engineering group based in Brisbane. Prior to Core Resources Rob worked in various roles for Outotec and JKTech. Rob received his Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Witwatersrand, a PhD in Minerals Processing from UQ’s Sustainability Mineral Institute and an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business.
