Mr Young-Joon Park
Phd Candidate
Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH)

Thermodynamic modeling of the Fe-Al-Ti-O system and evolution of Al-Ti complex inclusions during Ti-added ultra low carbon steel production

2:10 PM - 2:30 PM

FINAL PAPER

Biography

Young-Joon Park is a doctoral student from POSTECH, Korea and his supervisor is professor. Youn-Bae Kang. The topic he will be presenting is a phase equilibrium study of the Al2O3-TiOx system. This research is crucial to understand the transition behavior of Al-Ti complex inclusions that occur during the production of Ti-added ULC (Ultra Low Carbon) steel. The findings of this study have been published in the Journal of the European Ceramic Society. As indicated by the subject of his presentation, he has a significant interest in fields such as steelmaking and thermodynamics.
