Miss Genevieve Luketina
Senior Geologist
Kenex
Mineral potential mapping of porphyry targets at the Bundarra Cu-Au project, Queensland
2:15 PM - 2:30 PMBiography
Genevieve is a senior geologist at Kenex, where she has worked for the past two years. Genevieve is a graduate of Otago University (BSc Hons) and University of Western Australia (MSc), and worked as an exploration geologist in Australia for several years before moving back to NZ.
Beatriz Caetano
Graduate Student
Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro
New evidence of magmatic-hydrothermal activity of porphyry-epithermal system in the reararc of Izu-Bonin-Mariana
2:30 PM - 2:45 PMBiography
Beatriz is a geology undergraduate student at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and a fellow researcher in the project Expedition 350 of the International Ocean Discovery Program - IODP. Her research involves description of oxides and sulphides within volcaniclastic subaqueous rocks to characterize the hydrothermal activity, the oxidation state of rear arc magmatism and its implications for metallogeny. Currently holds the position of President of UFRJ SEG Student Chapter.
