Corescan
Porphyry deposits: genetic models using hyperspectral imagery data of drill core for exploration and mining applications
4:30 PM - 4:45 PMBiography
Ekaterina has been a part of Corescan technical team since 2014 helping pioneer hyperspectral data acquisition, interpretation and presentation. She is skilled in using hyperspectral data for mineral identification, creating a variety of detailed mineral maps and assisting in definition of intricate alteration patterns. She has experience working in a variety of geological environments and mineral deposit settings that include porphyry, skarn, orogenic gold, IOCG and unconformity-associated uranium. Prior to joining Corescan, Ekaterina has worked for over 8 years as a uranium exploration geologist in Australia and Canada. She holds a BSc in Geological Sciences from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Ore Deposit Geology at University of Western Australia.
