Damien is Professor of Resource Futures and Director (Innovation) at the Institute for Sustainable Futures, University of Technology Sydney. His research with government and industry is focused on modelling resource flows and environmental impacts and on developing strategies for circular economy in the minerals, water, energy and waste sectors.

Kegomoditswe Koitsiwe is a lecturer in the Department of Geology, at the University of Botswana where she is currently teaching Economic Geology courses. Koitsiwe graduated her PhD in Mineral Economics from Akita University , Japan in March 2018. Her research interests include commodity price analysis; mineral resources and economic development; and critical minerals.
