Jo-Anne Everingham is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Responsibility in Mining in the University of Queensland's Sustainable Minerals Institute. She has a background in academia, government and NGO sectors. She focuses on applied sociological studies of mining communities in Australia and examines local development impacts, governance, social policy, social performance of mining companies and stakeholder engagement.

Bruce’s career has spanned 40 years of worldwide field experience in the mining industry. In his early career as a geologist Bruce set up some of the mining industry’s earliest native title agreements with Aboriginal people in Australia. For seven years Bruce was Global Practice Leader Communities and Social Performance at Rio Tinto. Bruce is currently the Principal of a boutique consultancy, resolution88, specialising in ‘Social Licence’ solutions for the extractive sector. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Sustainable Minerals Institute at the University of Queensland, and a Guest Lecturer at the University of Otago (NZ) MBA School. Bruce is a member of the AusIMM Community and Environment Committee and currently Chairs the AusIMM Social License Forum Organising Committee.
