Exhibitor entitlements 

Walls: Polished aluminium frame with white melamine infill panels 
Note: Graphics/posters can be fixed to the walling with removable double-sided tape only. Please note that any tape that is used must be removable and cannot damage the panels or leave residue.

Fascia (signage): All open aisle frontages will have a fascia sign consisting of one company name and stand number. Computer-cut vinyl and standard lettering (maximum 30 characters).

Lighting: Two (2) track spotlights per 9sqm (lights are mounted on the inside of the front fascia).

Power: One (1) single power point per stand, regardless of size. Powerpoint is positioned in the rear corner of the stand.

Additional Equipment: Additional equipment (including AV, furniture, printed signage, etc) can be ordered through your personalised, online information kit.

** The above only applies to standard booths, custom stands will be required to order their power and lighting separately as per below.

Custom stand designs 

If you wish to construct a custom stand, the design must be submitted for approval to exhibitor@pcec.com.au and vmelhuish@ausimm.com.au. Custom stand designs must be received before 9 September 2024. When sending your design please also confirm your exhibitor-appointed contractor.

Any building or construction work within The Centre must be constructed or built according to the plans submitted to The Centre. All structures must comply with the Building Code of Australia and all other statutory regulations current at the time of construction. This includes but is not limited to, compliance pertaining to egress, height, fire safety and flammability rating of materials.

All temporary structures, including stands built for exhibitions, must comply with the ‘Building Code of Australia’ and all other statutory regulations current at the time of construction. This includes areas pertaining to egress, height, fire safety and flammability rating of materials. 

All exhibitor stands:

  • Any barriers incorporated into a custom stand are to be designed so that they yield to pressure without toppling. NOTE: Build, contractors are not to lean any equipment on walls. 
  • Any permanent exit signs blocked from view by a custom-built stand needs additional and supplementary signage to be provided.
  • If any halogen tube lights are to be used on any stand, the globe unit must be protected with safety glass to minimise the risk of fire. All exhibits must provide access for firefighting equipment. 

Multiple-level construction must provide:

  • The design shows all features, including access/egress points and stairways, full dimensional plan, elevations and certification eight weeks prior for assessment and written approval. 
  • Engineering approval from a structural engineer identifying the integrity of the structure is required. Artist’s impressions are not acceptable. 

Exhibition Stands with internal aisle-ways:

  • Are to be clearly marked. 
  • Minimum aisle width of three metres.
  • At no time can these aisles be blocked, partially or completely, during the event. 

Engineering approval must be obtained from a structural engineer for stands over 2.4 metres in height or stands designed to support weight other than light advertising material are required to be approved by submission of a design including access/egress points and stairways, with dimensional plan, with cross-sectional and elevation views, together with details of construction materials and methods.

Exhibitor inclusions*

  • Two (2) complimentary full registrations including:
    • Catering for each day of the conference 
    • Access to sessions
    • One (1) ticket to the Welcome Function 
    • One (1) ticket to the Networking Function 
  • Your company logo on the conference website, including a hyperlink to your company’s website 
  • Acknowledgement of conference marketing materials 
  • Exhibitor profile in the conference app 

As an exhibitor, if not already provided, you are requested to supply a company profile and logo for the conference website, collateral, and app.

To ensure these items are included and you receive as much brand exposure as possible in the lead-up, please upload your exhibitor profile and logo via the exhibition portal by Monday 16 September 2024.
