Daniel Lagace is a Mining Engineer with experience in mine operations, engineering, technical studies, and capital projects. His career has taken him across Canada and Australia, working in both the Arctic and the Outback, gaining experience in remote and challenging environments. Daniel has held leadership roles in base metals and diamond mine operations and projects. Currently, he is leading the shaft sink, equipping and rope-up of the Wira Shaft at BHP's Prominent Hill Operations. Previously, he was Mine Engineering Superintendent at Carrapateena Operations, both now part of BHP Copper South Australia. With a passion for underground mining, Daniel is dedicated to advancing best practices in mine engineering, project development, and industry collaboration. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from Laurentian University, in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

Colin is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with MineGeoTech who graduated from the Western Australian School of Mines in 2011 with an honours degree in Mining Engineering and completed his Masters in Mine Geotechnical Engineering at the University of New South Wales in 2023. He has more than 12 years’ experience in the mining industry having worked a range of roles from exploration and drilling to engineering in Australia, Canada, West Africa, Egypt, Mexico and Papua New Guinea. Colin is currently spearheading MineGeoTech’s expansion to the UK where he has set up base to provide better coverage to their African based clients covering both site support and geotechnical study work.
