Bob graduated with an honours degree in Mining Engineering and held management positions at a number of UK collieries before joining the UK’s Health and Safety Executive. With 30 years’ experience of mines regulation, Bob is currently HM Chief Inspector of Mines. The author of HSE publications, Bob led the development of the Mines Regulations 2014 and associated guidance. He has written and presented various papers internationally. Bob is a registered Chartered Engineer and European Engineer. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, and Past President of the Nottinghamshire Branch of the Institution of Mining Engineers, and the Midland Institute of Mining Engineers.

Hans Möhle is a Mining Engineer with over 25 years industry experience. Beginning his career in South Africa with De Beers Diamond Mines and immigrated to Australia in 2007, Hans has undertaken various roles from operational, technical to managerial and has recently been appointed Director at BBE Consulting. A proud member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, Hans furthered his Australian operational experience with tenures at Consolidated Minerals, and Rio Tinto. In 2017 Hans joined BBE Consulting as a Principal Engineer, managing large studies, leading ventilation automation design projects and providing advice on technical matters related to vertical development for ventilation systems for underground and surface mines. Since his appointment to Director, Hans has been a critical contributor to the global strategic direction of the BBE Group.

Javier de Miguel has studied BSc and MSc in Mining and Metallurgy Engineering in Spain and Senior Master Workplace Safety.
He has worked as a safety technician, as manager of innovation and as project technician in underground tunneling at technology centers of R&D.
He has worked in the precious metals underground mining at Hochschild Mining (Perú) as a Ventilation and Planning Engineer, productivity Analyst, several roles as mine production and developments supervisor, Also at MATSA (Spain) as mine production Supervisor and currently as Ventilation Engineer in two mines.
He has been leader of R&D projects implementing them in different works.
