Biography

Qin Botao is a professor at the School of Safety Engineering of China University of Mining and Technology, a recipient of China National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists, and a part-time expert in the National Safety Production Expert Group. His areas of expertise are in the fire characteristics of coal spontaneous combustion, research and development of fire-fighting materials, mine dust prevention and other scientific research. In recent years, he has presided over 5 national projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation; won one Second Class Prize for China's State Technological Innovation Award, one First Class Prize for Science and Technology Progress of China Coal Industry Association. Additionally, he authorized 43 domestic and foreign invention patents, and published more than 90 papers.

Baiwei Lei ,born in Shandong Province of China in 1987, is the teacher of Scurity Academy in China University of Minging and Technology –Beijing (CUMTB). He got his doctor degree of safety science and engineering in CUMTB at 2015. Now, he mainly engages in mine ventilation system optimization and coal mine fire relief work.

Michael is Associate Professor of Mining Engineering at Federation University. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a PhD from the University of Nottingham. Major research interests include; Mine ventilation, heat and mine climate, blasting and numerous other areas, he has also undertaken a wide range of consultancies in a number of countries.
