Abstract

Biography

Jan Theiler is the Senior Mining Engineer at testing services company CB3 Mines Services Pty Ltd in Brisbane. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from the University of Queensland in 2013. Jan is continuing to develop his expertise in specialist spontaneous combustion testing and analysis of coal, shale, waste rock and metal concentrates for use in the development of leading practice Principal Hazard Management Plans for industry.

Biography

Mohammed Al Zuraiji under taken his postgraduate research at the University of Newcastle, Mohammed working as a) Research associate at The Priority Research Centre for Frontier Energy Technologies & Utilisation. 2) Consultant engineer at Fire and Explosion Test service. His area expertise in coal and biomass combustion, Mine safety, industrial safety, fire and explosion, explosion mitigations, renewable and sustainable energy, and water treatment. In the last 3 years, Mohammed have led and involved in more than seven industrial projects in Australia. Mohammed published over 25 publication in recognised conferences and journals across the world.
