Biography

Amar-Amgalan is currently a Superintendent Surface mine geology with Mine Technical Services in Oyu Tolgoi, Open pit mine. Since 2010, started a career as a mine geologist and currently me and our team are responsible for the open pit mine geology and structural geology modelling, grade control, ore body interpretation, reconciliation and monthly production reporting.

Biography

Dr Davidson Egirani (PhD. Geology), now is Senior Academic of Environmental and Applied Geology, Head of EAAWRE Research Group. He got his B Sc, M Sc in the Earth Sciences at Ibadan and PhD in Environmental Science at the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom. He got Thomas Edison Award-2014 in Energy for Inspiration and Knowledge Distribution among young research scholars. Currently, Dr Davidson Egirani’ researches focus on the beneficiation and reduction of toxic heavy metals using novel mineral adsorbents. He has published over 75 articles that have been cited over 152 times. As a Lead Consultant in the United Kingdom, he got practical experiences in providing expert advice on the treatment of mine wastewater chemistry cutting across Asia, Africa, and the United Kingdom. Dr Davidson Egirani is a Visiting Lecturer to International Universities. He is a member of several international professional organizations including the International Medical Geology Association.
