Geovariances
Application of Pluri-Gaussian simulations and conditional simulation for geological modelling and estimation of a nickel deposit in New Caledonia
2:15 PM - 2:30 PMBiography
Marie-Cécile joined Geovariances as a Senior Mineral Resource Consultant in 2018 after graduating from Mines ParisTech with a post master’s degree in Geostatistics. She has 10 years of experience in the mining industry. She covered all the aspects of exploration and production geology (open pit and underground), geological and geostatistical modelling, resource estimation, grade control database management (AcQuire, DataSched etc) and quality control implementation. Her area of expertise includes various commodities such as Gold (massive sulphides, “greenstone” shearzone and skarns), Uranium and Nickel (lateritic); in various countries such as Kazakhstan, Namibia, New Caledonia, Philippines, Ivory Coast, Mali and Burkina Faso. Marie-Cécile has advanced knowledge in Mineral Resource Estimation and is a competent person in accordance with the requirements of the various regulatory requirements or codes (JORC, Ni43-101, PERC).
