Chris graduated from the South Australian Institute of Technology with a Metallurgical Engineering degree in 1990, and was awarded his PhD from the Ian Wark Research Institute of the University of South Australia in 2002.
Chris has work within the mining industry in a variety of roles from shift foreman at the Teutonic Bore copper/zinc operation to Principal Technologist with Pasminco. He is currently employed by Magotteaux as Manager Minerals Processing Research, and leads their technical efforts investigating the effect of grinding chemistry on downstream processes.

Andrew graduated from the University of Melbourne with a B.E. and M.Eng.Sc in Metallurgy and a PhD from the University of Cape Town. He has 44 years of experience in a variety of engineering, operational, managerial, research and consulting roles in the fields of minerals processing, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, plant design and process engineering. This includes base and precious metals, iron ore, industrial minerals (mineral sands, graphite, rare earths and lithium), uranium, nickel, cobalt and copper/cobalt leaching facilities as well as base metal and ilmenite smelting. Andrew has designed flotation equipment (particularly columns) and concentrators, and commissioned flotation and precious metals leaching plants. In addition, he has had considerable experience in process, project and process plant evaluations, due diligences, feasibility studies and metallurgical testing and program development.
Andrew is a member of the SME, CIMM, AusIMM (CP) & EA (CP).
He has published 35 papers and holds 15 patents.
Andrew has been with RPMGlobal as an Executive Consultant in Processing for 14 years, conducting Due Diligences, Bankers’/Independent Engineer, Construction and Operational Monitoring, Studies and General Advisory.

David Seaman has been with Newcrest for 11 years and currently works in the directional studies and technology group. Most recently, David spent over a year at Newcrest’s newest operation, Red Chris Mine, in Northern British Columbia.
David received his undergraduate and Master’s degrees from the University of Cape Town Chemical Engineering department and a PhD from UQ’s Sustainability Mineral Institute.
