Geostatistical Modelling of Geometallurgical Domains

1:35 PM - 1:55 PM

Biography

Currently a Senior Geologist working for BHP's WA Iron Ore Operations in the role of Resource Geologist. I have been in this role performing estimates and reporting of Mineral Resources across the companies Iron Ore portfolio for 10 years. During this time I have completed post-graduate certificate in Geostatistics (2015-2016) and commenced a MSc Mathematics and Planning at ECU (2019-2021). Prior to this I have experience in many mining and exploration geologist roles in Iron Ore and Nickel Laterite projects across the state. My current interests lie in exploring workflows that integrate techniques from machine learning and geostatistics to identify opportunities to increase productivity and confidence in investment decisions.
