Mark Rollog earned Bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and geology in North Carolina, followed by a Master’s degree in stable isotope geochemistry from the University of Arizona. He has managed stable isotope laboratories at the University of Arizona; US Geological Survey in Menlo Park, CA; University of Basel, Switzerland; and the University of Adelaide. He recently finished his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Adelaide.

Mark Maley is a Senior Hydrometallurgist within the ANSTO Minerals Business Unit. He is responsible for leading projects related to uranium leaching and flowsheet development, as well as the hydrometallurgical processing of ores containing naturally occurring radioactive material.
Prior to joining ANSTO Minerals in 2009, he held roles in BHP Billiton Technology and CSIRO Minerals and has worked on projects for a number of established and emerging mining companies based throughout Australia, Canada and Africa.

Meifeng Zhi is an associate professor in Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Engineering and Metallurgy CNNC. He graduated from the institute with a master degree in 2010 and engaged in scientific research in the field of Hydrometallurgy, especially in uranium hydrometallurgy and uranium refining.

Bob Ring is the Principal Consultant within ANSTO's minerals area.
Bob has authored more than 200 reports for industry and has been closely involved in all of Australia’s uranium production operations since 1978. He has also contributed his expertise to numerous international uranium projects located in Namibia, Malawi, Tanzania, Mali, South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Mauritania, Sweden, and the former East German operations of WISMUT. Bob has also led process development studies for most of Australia’s prospective uranium projects.
Bob was the General Manager of the Minerals business unit, for 9 years, before taking on his current role in 2014.
