Biography

Dr. Anrin Bhattacharyya is an experienced metallurgist and consultant in the coal, coke, raw materials and ironmaking sector. He has been engaged in both industrial and research activities. He has several publications to his credit and has presented at various international forums across the globe. His specialties include process optimization, quick turnaround solutions, cost minimization and R&D Management. Anrin is a metallurgist and focuses on raw material properties, experimental process simulation and process optimization with special focus on techno-economic feasibility. He has extensive experience in collaborative R&D and has designed several novel characterization and testing methods.

Biography

Nicholas Di Giorgio is a senior Technology and Development Engineer at the Port Kembla Steelworks, with extensive expertise in Blast Furnace Ironmaking, the development of coke and sinter properties and sintering productivity.His present focus is on optimisation of the sinter process. He obtained his Honours Degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Wollongong in 1989 holds a Master of Science in Materials Science from UNSW. Nick has also been an Honorary Fellow at the University of Wollongong and is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the School of Materials at UNSW.
