Darren is the Business development manager of Mipac, a process control and performance data solutions company. He has been working with mining companies around the globe to help them implement process improvements in control and automation for 30 years. In the early 90’s, Darren convinced Ford Motor Company to install 80 industrial PC workstations with fieldbus connectivity and later did the same with mining companies to enable their PI systems to correlate data for more informed decision making. His experience of applied technology and knowledge transfer has helped identify instrumentation issues and need for improvements in data governance.

Chris has over 30 years experience in diverse industries ranging from Air Force maintenance through waste management and mining and mineral processing
