Richmond obtained his BSc (Mineral Engineering) and PhD (Minerals and Resources) degrees from the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), and the University of South Australia (UniSA), respectively. He previously worked as a teaching assistant in UMaT, and as a research associate in Process Innovations in Ghana.

Gregor Borg is an exploration geologist by original profession and consults to the international exploration and mining industry. He conducts industry-related university research projects on ore mineralogy of base and precious metal ores as well as industrial minerals and rare earth element ores. He is an advisor to the inventors and producers of the highly innovative VeRo Liberator technique, a game-changing comminution technique with unparalleled energy efficiency and particle liberation.
