Mineralogical controls on gold extraction: a comparison of leaching techniques on South African ores

4:30 PM - 4:50 PM

Abstract

Biography

From 2013-2015 I completed my BSc, at the University of Witwatersrand, in Geology and Chemistry. This was followed by a BSc Honours in Geochemistry, with Distinction. Based on my marks I was offered to continue my studies, where I was given funding for an MSc project of my own design. After a year’s studies, my MSc was successfully upgraded into a PhD, which I am currently completing. While continuing with my studies, I have also had the opportunity to work on short-term projects within the consulting and laboratory environments.
