Marko Latva-Kokko graduated at year 2002 from Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland. Currently he works as a Development Manager of the hydrometallurgical equipment department at Outotec. He has seventeen years of practical experience from various positions in hydrometallurgical industry. With strong background in development of hydrometallurgical processes and process equipment he holds several patents related to the field. In his current position he is in charge of the research activities concerning development of hydrometallurgical process equipment provided by Outotec.

David Phillpotts is a professional engineer with a masters degree in process control. He is a research and development coordinator in the Measurement and Control division at Mintek in South Africa where he oversees research in fields including flotation optimisation, gravity spiral control, advanced process control, deep learning and niche measurements for process control.

Josue is a Development Metallurgist at Oceanagold-Haile Operation in South Carolina. He has been at Haile for a little over 3 years. He obtained both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degrees in mineral processing and extractive metallurgy at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden Colorado. Josue is currently in charge of the CIL circuit, the Cyanide Detox circuit and the Elution-Refinery-Carbon Regeneration circuit at Haile. In the past, he was in charge of the Crushing & Grinding circuit.
