Felipe currently serves as Global Principal & SME in Study Management at BHP, where he strengthens project governance and supports global teams in improving study maturity, risk clarity, and long‑term value outcomes. His experience includes senior leadership roles at Gold Fields, Newmont–Barrick’s Norte Abierto JV, and Antofagasta Minerals, where he oversaw multidisciplinary technical services, long‑range planning, CAPEX/OPEX modelling, due diligence, and strategic portfolio evaluation. He has led high‑performance teams across geology, mine planning, geotechnical, metallurgy, water, and tailings, consistently ensuring alignment with international standards, corporate investment frameworks, and sustainability objectives. Felipe holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and a Civil Engineering degree with a Mining specialization from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, along with an MA in Regulation from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He is a Qualified Person (QP Mining) and an active member of MAusIMM and SME, with executive training from Harvard, Stanford, and Cornell.

Tarrant Elkington is a mining engineer and strategic consultant with extensive experience in mine planning, resource evaluation, and technical advisory across a range of commodities, including gold, iron ore, lithium, and base metals. He is General Manager at Snowden Optiro, where he supports mining companies in optimising project value through integrated technical and economic analysis. Tarrant has led and contributed to numerous studies, from early-stage concept evaluations through to feasibility studies and operational optimisation. His expertise includes open pit and underground mine design, cut-off grade strategy, reconciliation, and emerging areas such as mine electrification and advanced optimisation methods. In addition to consulting, he is actively involved in knowledge sharing through industry presentations, training courses, and technical content, helping bridge the gap between theory and practical application in geology and mining.

Luis Montiel Petro serves as Principal - Resource Development Plan at Vale Base Metals in Toronto, Canada. His responsibilities include the long-term strategic planning of mineral resource extraction to support the company’s growth in critical mineral production. He previously worked as Manager of Geoscience Data Management, overseeing all geological information systems and workflows for exploration and project development. Before joining Vale, Luis was Manager of Technical Services at Promine Inc. and a research fellow with the COSMO Stochastic Mine Planning Laboratory at McGill University, where he earned his PhD in Mining Engineering. Luis is passionate about technology and innovation, and the implementation of new ideas and technologies in project and production environments.

Adrienne Rispoli is the Senior Director – Mining & Integrated Planning at Iamgold, based at the corporate office since 2021. She leads the company’s integrated planning initiative and recently expanded her responsibilities as Qualified Person (QP) for Mining, ensuring governance and compliance in Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve (MRMR) estimation. A graduate of McGill University with a Bachelor’s in Mining Engineering (2004), Adrienne began her career at Goldcorp, where she advanced the integration of technology to improve efficiency and workplace safety. She has held several technical roles at Newmont, Goldcorp, Xstrata, and North American Palladium operations, gaining deep expertise in mine planning across various operations in Canada. Throughout her career, Adrienne has focused on mine planning, project management, risk mitigation, and economic evaluations as well as adopting new technologies to enhance the working environment. Adrienne is a Professional Engineer (Quebec & Ontario) and remains deeply passionate about mine planning, operational excellence, and technical governance.

Bruno Gadelha is the RDP Manager withing the within CTO - Mining & Geotechnical at Vale Base Metals (VBM), Toronto. Bruno is a strategic mine planning leader with extensive experience driving corporate‑level planning, value optimization, and long‑term resource development across VBM’s global portfolio. In his current role, Bruno leads enterprise‑wide initiatives for both underground and open‑pit operations, with a focus on integrating geology, mine engineering, geotechnical planning, capital strategy and sustainability into a unified long‑term vision.
