Biography

Henry has 15 years mine geology experience in coal, gold and base metals. He then spent 7 years in technical chemical sales to mines and industrial clients. In the nearly 20 years with Scantech he helped establish the company as the leading supplier of its analyser technologies to the global minerals sector. Henry is now responsible for developing new markets such as recycling. He leads a team of talented science and engineering professionals in finding measurement solutions for the resources sector, for both raw and used materials. The team is passionate about helping companies to reduce waste, improve process performance and making operations more sustainable.

Biography

Rayleen Hargreaves is a reconciliation geologist and the Product Owner of Reconcilor at Datamine, where she leads the development of tools that help mining operations track, manage, and reconcile metal movement across the value chain. With over 30 years in the mining industry, Rayleen is a passionate advocate for transparent and standardised reconciliation reporting. Her work fosters data-driven decision-making and alignment across geology, planning, and processing teams. A MAusIMM Chartered Professional (Geology), Rayleen has been recognised as a Women in Technology WA Role Model and was a finalist in the Women in Digital Awards. She co-authored the AusIMM paper “Transparency and Standardisation in Metal Reconciliation Reporting” and contributes to Snowden Optiro’s “Fresh Thinking” podcast series, which explores real-world reconciliation challenges and solutions.

Biography

Wesly Randa is the Principal Resource Geologist at Oceanagold Corporation, providing technical support for all Oceanagold sites. He holds a Post graduate diploma in Geostatistics from Mines Paris (CFSG) and bachelor's degree in Geology. With close to 15 years of experience in resource estimation and reconciliation in gold, base metals, nickel laterite and iron ore. Before joining Oceanagold in 2021, he worked with Eramet, G-Resources, Rio Tinto Iron Ore and MMG.

A geologist with bachelors degree from the University of Adelaide and 17 years experience in industry. This experience has included working at Broken Hill in early career and then moving to IOCG deposits at Prominent Hill and Carrapateena for the last 14 years. He has exposure to a range of mining techniques including open pit, long hole open stoping, sub level caving and block caving.
