Peter Standish (FAusIMM) is an experienced and qualified engineer with over 30 years of expertise in managing business challenges at various levels. He brings a scientific mindset to every task, solving problems through data-driven methods whenever possible. His extensive background working across different industries has equipped him with the ability to evaluate situations objectively and anticipate potential issues through analytical thinking and sound judgment.
Peter is passionate about applying technological solutions to complex problems. His dedication to making technical information accessible to diverse audiences led to his involvement in creating the Risk Mentor platform and its associated data visualization tools.

Mr Matthew Gill is a mining engineer with over 40 years' experience. He has a strong technical, operational and executive management background, having worked as an underground miner, mine planning engineer, supervisor, department head, general manager, COO, CEO and managing director, in Australia, Papua New Guinea, India, Ghana, Bolivia and the USA.
He holds four First Class Metalliferous Mine Manager’s Certificates of Competency and has been instrumental in the successful development of five mines (Porgera, Beaconsfield, Ballarat, Morning Star and Endeavor). He is a three-time winner of the Australian Mine Manager of the Year Award and received the AusIMM Leadership Award in 2008.
Matt was most recently a non-executive director for Polymetals, and then GM leading the re-opening of the Endeavor mine in NSW. Prior to that, he was the MD&CEO for White Rock Minerals and Castlemaine Goldfields, and has also been the Group Chief Operating Officer for Singapore-listed LionGold Corp, and has worked for Renison Goldfields, Placer Pacific, WMC and Rio Tinto.
Matt runs his own mining advisory consultancy, and is a Crisis Leadership Advisor with Left of Boom, and a Project Director with Mining One. Matt also sits on the Board of Akora Resources as a non-executive director, focused on advancing that company’s high-grade iron ore projects in Madagascar

Jason Pearce is the Senior Director of Service & Support APAC for Hexagon's Mining Division. With more than 25 years of experience in mining operations, technology consulting and operational systems, he leads teams across the Asia-Pacific region delivering and supporting technology solutions that improve safety and operational performance. Jason has extensive experience in mining technology deployment, collision avoidance systems, operational technology and change management, and is passionate about helping the industry achieve better safety outcomes through practical innovation, leadership and collaboration.

Kate du Preez started her career in South Africa’s underground coal mines, holding statutory operational roles before transitioning into a career that has included regulatory and executive leadership. She served as Queensland’s Commissioner for Resources Safety and Health and has held executive roles with a major mining company, with responsibilities spanning ESG, risk management, corporate affairs, communications, and regulatory reform.
This dual perspective, as both a regulator and operational leader, has given Kate rare exposure to safety governance from multiple perspectives and enables her to provide practical recommendations in complex operating environments.
Kate is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM) and received AusIMM’s Julius Kruttschnitt Award in recognition of her contribution to the resources industry. As a miner herself, she is a values-driven leader, deeply committed to the resources sector and a strong advocate for mining safety and health.

Lucy has over 30 years’ experience in the mining and extractive sector and is currently the global Head for HSEC & Human Rights at Glencore based in Switzerland. Glencore employs 140, 000, operates 40 assets across 30 countries.
Lucy has a global role developing strategy, setting standards across the business in the areas of health, safety, environment, closure, community, human rights, security and tailings facilities.
She has extensive international experience due to the location of our assets and enjoy the cross collaboration with stakeholders to collectively deliver on consistent and strong performance.
Lucy, holds a BSc (Applied Science) from the University of New south Wales, Australia, is a Fellow of AusIMM and is a Graduate of the Australia Institute of Company Directors.

Nicole Tucker is an Inspector of Mines – Geotechnical and Acting Regional Inspector, Projects and Governance with the Western Australian Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety (LGIRS). With more than 15 years of experience across mining operations, engineering consulting and government regulation, Nicole has developed expertise in organisational governance, leadership and the development of strong safety cultures within the resources sector.
In her regulatory role, Nicole leads and supports initiatives that strengthen capability, governance frameworks and safety culture across the mining industry. Nicole also contributes to regulatory guidance, industry engagement and collaborative improvement initiatives that foster positive workplace cultures and enhance safety performance across the sector.
