Mr Igor Ametov is a mineral processing professional with 20 years experience in froth flotation. During his career, he worked in mineral processing research and development at the Ian Wark Research Institute of the University of South Australia and BHP. In 2015, Igor joined Cytec, a well known flotation reagent company, which later became Solvay and recently Syensqo. His current role is Syensqo's Asia Pacific Regional Technical Manager.

Natasha is a Senior Technical Specialist at Kemtec Mineral Processing Pty Ltd with more than 10 years of mining industry experience. She specialises in flotation chemistry, hydrodynamic profiling, and carbon management with a strong focus on bridging plant fundamentals with practical operational outcomes. Working directly at operating mine sites, her work in gas hold-up monitoring and reagent optimisation has supported measurable improvements in recovery, concentrate grade, and cost efficiency. Natasha’s current interest is in linking real-time hydrodynamic data with metallurgical performance, giving operators actionable tools to enhance flotation selectivity and overall circuit performance.

Phil Sharman is Process Engineering Specialist at Newmont with over 20 years of mineral processing experience. Holding a Bachelor of Extractive Metallurgy (Hons), Phil has extensive knowledge of copper, gold, molybdenum and nickel flotation as well as experience in comminution, gravity separation, leaching, dewatering, geometallurgy and metallurgical accounting. Phil has been employed in a variety of site based and corporate roles, with involvement in laboratory test work design, piloting, commissioning, day to day production, circuit upgrades, governance and expansion studies.

Rhys Jones is a Principal Metallurgist with BHP Copper South Australia.
