Biography

Christoph Mueller, after his engineering studies and an additional education in technical software engineering at Siemens got his PhD in Electronics and Telecommunications. Since 1992 Christoph Mueller works mainly with automation projects for mobile machinery. From 1997 he is operating his own companies specialized on successfully turning innovations into operational benefits in major machine automation projects. Currently, these companies in Germany and Poland are working mainly with functional safe mobile machine automation, driver assistance systems and autonomous operation in harsh and demanding off highway environments as mining and tunnelling, agriculture or airport and harbor equipment.

Biography

Yhana Lanwin (LLB, BCom, GAICD, Leading Strategic Change and Growth (Columbia University NYC) and Inclusive Leadership Through Behavioural Science (London School of Economics)) is a multi-award winning thought leader in automation, systems design and the future of work. The founder and CEO of Sans Prejudice Solutions, a global management consulting company, she has an extensive career history working with and for the world’s largest mining companies as well as leading energy, utilities, higher education and government organisations. She has led complex technology, automation, business improvement and cultural change programs across Australia and internationally with a focus on applied behavioural science-based systems design and inclusive engineering control frameworks for error reduction and sustainable change. She is a member of the Global Mining Guidelines Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and was recognised at the 2024 International Future of Mining Conference for her work into the evolution of business systems and its implications for the future of work, education, and technology.

James Mackenzie is an experienced mining professional with nearly two decades in mine planning and surveying, bringing a wealth of practical and strategic insight to the industry. His career spans both open-cut and underground mining across multiple mineral sectors, where he has developed broad expertise in industry-standard software for design, modeling, and data analysis. This proficiency with mining technology naturally led James into the software space, where he has applied his hands-on knowledge to the development of leading solutions that address real industry challenges. In his current role at Maptek as Global Strategy Manager - Core and Platforms, James leverages his deep experience and enthusiasm for process improvement, optimization, and innovation. Passionate about shaping the future of mining, he is committed to guiding the industry into a more data-driven, connected era.

Tony is an experienced engineer and executive, who worked in the resources sector for over 30 years, with over 25 professional years of expertise in the full life cycle of mineral processing, extraction, refine and complex chemical projects, from concepts development, test work, engineering design, construction, commissioning, ramp up to steady production operations. Tony is passionate about developing innovative and sustainable solutions for critical minerals and energy challenges and facilitating industry-academia collaboration and knowledge transfer.
