Advanced Multivariable Geological Modeling – Case Study of Orogenic Au Deposit with Multi-Generational Quartz Veins

10:50 AM - 11:10 AM

Abstract

Biography

Geologist with over 16 years of experience in the mining industry, specializing in geological modeling for metals such as Gold and Copper. I play a key role in guiding exploration efforts and supporting resource and reserve estimation across various projects. With a strong academic background in Geology from the National University of Engineering in Lima, Peru, I have developed expertise in 3D geological modeling for different deposit types, including High and Low Sulphidation, Porphyries, and Orogenic Systems. Throughout my career, I have held both leadership and technical roles in exploration and mining operations. I have been instrumental in developing and validating geological models using various geological software tools, from data acquisition to 3D model generation. My experience spans exploration, drillhole logging and geological modeling, with an emphasis on integrating structural, geochemical, and geophysical data. I excels in leading cross-functional teams, particularly in areas such as infill drilling, geological modeling, QA/QC between others. My contributions have been essential in the geological modeling of both Open-Pit and Underground projects, providing critical insights for long-term planning and decision-making. I am passionate about creating geological models for every stage of the exploration lifecycle and is committed to continuous professional growth.
