Mo Srivastava has written many technical articles and book chapters on the theory and practice of geostatistics, including “An Introduction to Applied Geostatistics”, a widely used textbook. His mining industry work runs from exploration through to operations and production planning. He has advised companies on public disclosure, worked on due diligence review teams for mergers and acquisitions, and served as an expert witness in litigation and arbitration. Mo’s resource and reserve estimation experience includes precious and base metals, industrial minerals and energy fuels. He has worked on mineral projects on every continent … except Antarctica; but he has lent his talents to counting penguins.

Dale is a mining geologist with over 40 years experience in the industry and currently works as an independent consultant based in rural NSW. He assists with resource projects, supporting client teams on aspects of interpretation, estimation and operations, and delivers training and development with a focus on tertiary student and early career geoscientists. A past two-term AusIMM Board member, he is the current AIG President and Chair of the Board assisting to shape the future of that significant professional organisation.

Jesse is currently the Regional Chief Geologist for Nevada Gold Mines with Barrick Gold overseeing all Technical Functions. His focus is to support Nevada Gold Mines to create long-term value by underpinning business development and operational opportunities with world class geological models. He received a B.Sc (Hons., first-class) from the University of Adelaide in 2014, and a M.Sc (Economic Geology) within the National Master’s Program based at the University of Tasmania CODES in 2019. Jesse began his career with BHP in 2015 within the global graduate program, followed by various roles, including Principal Geoscientist for BHP Minerals Australia. His accomplishments include leading the team towards several successful near-mine growth targets, including OD Deeps, as well as contributing to the discovery of the Oak Dam West deposit, delineating over 20 Mt contained Copper. He has contributed to several publications, numerous conferences and led technical workshops.
