Biography

Rob Williamson is the Executive Director and Chief Operations Officer at Alpha HPA, with nearly 25 years’ experience in large facility operations and executive leadership. His pragmatic approach and strategic acumen have been instrumental in propelling the company's vertical integration strategy for advanced materials, contributing significantly to the decarbonisation of the tech sector. Rob is passionate about instilling a culture of accountability both in “what we do and how we treat each other” and sees it as a key to the success of any business.

Keynote Presentation | Critical Minerals: Boom-Bust-Now! The Challenge of Thinking Long Term- In a Short Term-World

Biography

Sally heads up IPA’s Asia-Pacific operation. In this role, she is responsible for continuing to strengthen IPA’s relationship with global and local clients in the region, including renewables, mining and minerals, oil and gas, power and infrastructure, new ventures, and other industries. Her focus is on collaborating with client capital champions and decision makers to enable IPA clients to manage project risk and innovate and improve within their capital project systems. Sally was IPA’s Global Manager of Mining, Minerals, & Metals (MMM) between 2021 and 2023 and strengthened IPA’s relationships with global and local clients investing in capital projects in the MMM sector following a long period of low investment in the sector.

Biography

With a background in mining engineering, Nicole has almost 30 years experience in the resources industry. After starting her career as an underground miner, Nicole went on to hold a number of site technical and consulting roles before taking on a leadership role with Glencore, where she headed a team of resources professionals responsible for business development, project assessment and technical governance of mining operations. A Fellow of the AusIMM, Nicole has served as a member of the JORC Committee, Chair of the AusIMM Hunter Region Branch, and sat on a number of industry advisory boards for tertiary mining education. In 2018 Nicole was named Exceptional Woman in NSW Mining at the NSW Minerals Council awards and was selected for the 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining in 2018. First elected to the Board in 2021, Nicole has served on the Nominations Committee, Policy and Advocacy Committee, Remuneration Committee and chaired the Future Workforce Working Group. She currently Chairs the Joint AIG / AusIMM Competent Person Review Taskforce.

Stephen's leadership focuses on building high performance organisations by fostering an innovative culture and supporting teams to collaborate and thrive. At both AusIMM and EA, Stephen has led transformations of these long-standing associations to be more contemporary and financially sustainable, with a stronger external brand.
