Leigh Slomp is the General Manager Technical Services at Allkem Limited.
Leigh is a senior resources industry professional and executive with 25 years operational and management experience across several commodities and technical disciplines. In his previous role as Chief Advisor Professional Standards at the AusIMM, he was responsible for the Institutes strategy and leadership of industry codes and standards, policy and advocacy, and government relations.
Prior to that Leigh was Global Manager Resources and Exploration for ArcelorMittal Mining in London, where he oversaw the company’s resource and reserve strategy and reporting across more than 25 mines globally. While in London he was the inaugural AusIMM International Representative and chair of the AusIMM UK Committee.
Mr Slomp is a Chartered Professional in the Management discipline, and he is Fellow of both the AusIMM and the Geological Society of London.

Christiane is a partner in the Project & Program Delivery team based in Adelaide, within KPMG's national Infrastructure, Assets & Places division. She is also the sector lead for Mining and Oil & Gas.
A versatile, adaptable senior executive, Christiane has more than 25 years' professional and leadership experience predominantly in the mining, resources and utilities industries as well as financial services sectors.
Christiane supports the growth of our Management Consulting division, focusing on the energy and natural resources industries and enhancing our clients’ capital projects delivery through her extensive experience. She has a wealth of knowledge in strategising and the delivery of major projects. In prior roles, Christiane was successful in gaining CEO and board approval for many multi-million-dollar projects as well as being involved in their delivery.
She is a passionate and skilled facilitator for boards and senior decision makers, and has extensive experience working with all organisational levels within Australia as well as the Middle East, Eastern and Western Europe, the UK, the US, South America, and India.
Christiane uses her unique capability of strategic, technical and authentic leadership to improve competitive positioning, prepare business cases, undertake feasibility studies and improve efficiencies. She is able to develop strategy and operationalise it, and makes the complex appear easy. As an experienced strategic thinker, Christiane can 'paint' a pathway to value creation.
Christiane holds International Business and Engineering qualifications and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Darryl has over 30 years’ experience in global roles in multicommodity resources, services and manufacturing holding both Senior Executive and Executive Director roles. He brings extensive knowledge and experience in both the resources and manufacturing sectors having run large complex operational assets and has led the development and execution of a range of major projects. Darryl, appointed as a Non-Executive Director for Arafura in November 2021, previously served as Chief Manufacturing and Supply Officer as well as Group Executive and President of Auspac Asia while at Orica Pty Ltd.
He held various senior positions during his 24-year career with BHP, including 3 years as President of Olympic Dam with responsibility for operations, expansion projects and organisation wide transformational change programs. He has a broad international perspective, having experience in running operations across over 30 countries.

Frank has 30 years experience in mining, equities and debt financing and is currently the Senior Director Resources & WA at the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility, where he’s responsible for NAIF’s investments in the resources sector as well as NAIF’s senior representative in Western Australia.
Prior to joining NAIF in 2021, Frank spent 17 years at ANZ including 7 years as Head of Natural Resources Australia.
Frank also worked at Macquarie Equities specialising in the small and mid-cap resources sector, and started his career as a mining engineer in the WA goldfields.

Kristie began her career as a mining engineer in the mid 90's after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Engineering Honours. She worked across both underground and open cut operations before her career moved to include roles in Executive Search (mining sector), Lecturing at Curtin University (Mine Finance & Economics) and Business Development Director roles with both EY and PwC.
Today, Kristie is a professional board director holding Non-Executive Director roles with Brazilian Rare Earths Ltd, Lithium Australia Ltd, Corazon Mining Ltd, Tasmea Ltd, MinEx CRC & Wesley College WA. She is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the AusIMM.

As Head of Operations & Planning for the Project & Structured Finance team, Tim works with Export Finance Australia’s sector leads to provide finance solutions to support Australian exports and infrastructure in the Indo-Pacific.
Prior to his current role, Tim was Head of Transaction Management for the Project & Structured Finance business.
Tim has 20 years of transaction experience across a range of roles within Export Finance Australia and the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility.
Over his career he has successfully delivered complex project and export finance transactions for customers across a range of different industries.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Civil from the University of Sydney.

Jan is passionate about positive change in the mining industry. Over his 30 years with Hatch, Jan has developed an in-depth, hands-on understanding of the relationships between business strategy and project development. Jan has managed every aspect of the design, construction, commissioning and operation of large mines and metallurgical facilities, from the study phase through detailed design to commissioning and operations. He is skilled at guiding project teams in delivering the desired project benefits to clients, including his expertise in the development and implementation of new technology projects from pilot plant studies through all engineering phases, construction, commissioning and plant operations.
As Managing Director of Hatch in Australia-Asia, Jan oversees an estimated 1500 staff on more than 200 projects. He is also chair of Australia’s Green Hydrogen Consortium, which seeks to investigate mining sector decarbonisation, and is a director of EnviroMets, a Queensland government initiative to find new value for post mining land.
