Steve Sullivan is a geologist with more than 35 years industry experience in geological modelling and resource management. Steve worked for ten years in exploration, open cut and underground mining in PNG, Vic, NSW and QLD before joining Maptek where he has worked across a diverse range of metalliferous and energy commodities throughout Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Laos and Mongolia. He is currently the Technical Lead at Maptek for DomainMCF, a commercial machine learning application for geological modelling.

Michael Munro is a co-founder and director of GMEK, a technical consultancy based in QLD Australia, specializing in ground modelling and engineering services for the resources sector.
A Fellow of the Geological Society London, Michael has obtained a BSc (Hons) in Exploration and Resource Geology from Cardiff University, and an MSc in Mining Geology from the Camborne School of Mines. With over 15 years broad ranging industry experience, Michael has been able to develop and apply several innovative modelling solutions for a range of mineral commodities, geotechnical, and hydrothermal industry sectors.

Alireza is a geotechnical engineer with over 9 years of combined academic and industrial experience in mining and rock engineering. He earned his PhD degree in rock mechanics from Seoul National University (SNU). His expertise encompasses a wide range of projects, including rock slope stability and mine closure/rehabilitation assessments. With more than 20 publications in reputable journals and conferences, Alireza has demonstrated a strong research track record. In 2022, he has provided operational and ad-hoc support for brown coal mines in the Latrobe Valley. Currently, at GHD Victoria Mining Group, he is spearheading the development of a comprehensive workflow for digital rock mass characterization using drone technology.

Bill Has been involved in the resources sector for more than 40 years. His early career commenced at Ranger uranium mine, then Amax mining in Colorado, followed by a role with the then Queensland Department of Miners.
He started Queensland's first exploration and mining tenement management consultancy business in the 80's. Over the years the businesses have developed into diversified resource project approvals and management consultancies, which now include PX4 Software, a multi-jurisdictional tenement software.
Bill is a member of the Aus IMM and a former President of the Environment Institue of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) where he helped to create the Certified Environmental practitioner Scheme.
He is currently helping to create an Aus IMM category for Tenement Managers.
