Lisa joined BHP in 2015 and has held various Technical and execution roles prior to joining the Resources Centre of Excellence in 2021. Lisa is currently the Head of Technical Portfolio, working along side subject matter experts to ensure technical excellence is applied to our growth options as well as studies and strategic program level reviews. Lisa is also the Global Lead for Jasper, BHPs LGBTQI+ and Ally network. Lisa has 18 years mining experience with various roles in Africa, the South Pacific and Australia including Operations Manager and Exploration Country Manager. She has led several major transformation projects. Lisa is passionate about sustainable social value and advocating for Inclusion and Diversity. Lisa and her partner are parents to twin boys, Oisin and Daniel, as well as 2 Westie dogs, Archie and Dougal. Apart from spending time cycling, climbing and generally enjoying the outdoors, Lisa also sits on the QLD committee of The Pinnacle Foundation, a charity that provides financial and mentoring support for LGBT+ scholars across Australia.
