Diane helps resources companies with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies and disclosures for financing, marketing, and operations. She has over 20 years’ experience in environmental management, social performance, and government affairs and has provided a broad suite of services to constructors, operators, investors, and lenders in resource and related infrastructure projects.
Diane has provided input on compliance and ESG matters to technical due diligence and feasibility studies for diverse resources projects in a variety of Australian and international jurisdictions, with reference to global frameworks including the Equator Principles, the International Finance Corporation, and World Bank standards.
During her career, Diane has worked with a number of companies across project phases as a specialised relationship and environmental technical specialist to resolve complex social and environmental issues impacting project delivery.

Phoebe is Country Director. Her role involves overseeing the consulting team at Minviro in the UK and Australia, which provides qualitative and quantitative cradle-to-cradle life cycle assessments (LCA) according to the ISO14040:2006, 14044:2006 and ISO 14067 standards for measuring the environmental impacts of critical metals. She is experienced in providing detailed LCA's for lithium, base metals, REE, and graphite commodities as well as Li-ion battery cell/pack manufacturing and recycling. She has prior experience in specializing in carbon capture and storage in situ serpentinisation and for mine tailings. She is recognised as one of the top 25 ESG Consultants of 2022, and has published academic articles and whitepapers on the raw material supply chain, with a specific focus on the production of anode-grade graphite. She was the lead moderator and conducted the Product Category Rules for Graphite, harmonising the LCA methodological approach for graphite LCA's.

Dr Mario Iglesias-Martinez graduated from Faculty of Geological Science, Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), Spain. He did his MSc at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil and his PhD in Mining Engineering at Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM) on the metallogenesis of laterite gold deposits in Archean greenstone belts in northern Gabon (Congo Craton).
His professional work and research over the past 10 years have been focused on mining exploration and geological mapping. Since 2012, he has held positions as Chief Project Geologist in several mining exploration companies, mainly in precious metals and Industrial minerals prospecting projects in Sub-Saharan Africa (Burkina Faso, Gabon, Mozambique, Angola, Cameroun, Morocco) and also, he has involved in various research projects for the Spanish Geological Survey related to the utilisation of mine tailings.
From 2018 to 2022 Mario has held the position of associate professor of the Department of Mineralogy and Petrology of UCM University at Madrid and belongs to the Research Group of Exploration and Environmental Geochemistry. He joined CSIRO in 2022 as a visiting scientist and recently got a Research Scientist position in the Mineral Resources Division being part of the Exploration Through Cover Group.

Adrienne (Adi) LaBombard is responsible for leading the development CME policy positions and guiding the delivery of CME's policy and advocacy strategy. She is passionate about genuine consultation, evidenced based and solutions focused approaches and works closely with members, government and other stakeholders across a diverse range of areas relevant to the Western Australia resources sector. Prior to commencing in the Director role in May 2022, Adi managed CME’s Industry Competitiveness portfolio with a focus across the areas of economics and productivity, strategic industry development and infrastructure.
Adi joined CME over ten years ago, commencing in the Environment portfolio in September 2012. Previously, Adi worked with the strategic policy team at the Western Australian Department of the Premier and Cabinet. Prior to relocating to Perth in 2008, Adi worked in Human Resources at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, USA. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University, Montreal and a Masters of Arts from Murdoch University, Perth.
