Firdevs has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mining engineering. She is doing PhD in Mining and Geotechnical Engineering Division at LTU and currently involved in a project of sustainable underground mining - green mining layouts. The main research subject in this project is discrete event simulation of production layouts in underground mines.

Tim left school at 15 and completed a 4-year mechanical engineering apprenticeship with Holman Brothers in Cornwall. On completion of his apprenticeship and a brief period as a service engineer in the north of England he took himself back to college and ultimately graduated from the Camborne School of Mines (1990).
Over the past 30 years Tim has gained international mining experience from working in gold, copper and nickel operations in South Africa, Tasmania, and Western Australia. He has worked on a wide range of projects from Greenfield to near-mine in Australia, Canada, USA, Finland, DRC, Mali, Ghana, PNG, Brazil, and Chile as well as many operational underground hard rock mines.
His expertise include:
Project Management, mining studies, setup of green field operations, materials handling, hoist shaft evaluation and rehabilitation, financial modelling, and risk analysis.

A qualified senior professional with over 20 years experience in mining services with broad work and management experience across multiple functional areas. Proven history of business growth, having worked successfully in multiple geographic locations with varying nationalities and cultures.
Well versed in general management, exploration, mining and the civil construction industry with experience in contract tender, business development, technical and general management and government liaison. Experienced in overseeing commercial and technical proposals, project management and supply; and managing and leveraging multi-cultural teams across diverse geographic locations in order to expand business opportunities.
