Zeljka Pokrajcic is a mineral processing professional with experience in the mineral industry globally. She has worked in the commissioning, operation and optimisation of Pb-Zn processing circuits in Canada and Australia.
As the Technical Director at PETRA she brings domain knowledge and experience to the application of AI and digital techniques to mining and mineral processing. She holds a PhD from SMI-JKMRC in energy efficient comminution circuit design and was award the TMS environmental award for her work. She is a founding director of CEEC International, a global not for profit aimed at promoting energy efficiency in the minerals sector.

Holly works with industrial companies to increase the use of data science by executing projects with a global network of data scientists. Holly believes ML can significantly contribute to increasing sustainability and decreasing our footprint. Holly holds two patents for applications of ML in mining and has accelerated ML use in mineral exploration through open initiatives like ExploreSA. Holly holds a Masters of Geoscience and started her career as an exploration geologist. She has a strong passion for STEM, is an active mentor and Chair of AusIMM Perth.

Dr. H. Şebnem Düzgün is a Professor and Fred Banfield Distinguished Endowed Chair of the Mining Engineering Department at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM). She has also joint faculty appointment in the Department of Computer Science at CSM. She has an international reputation for range of topics: probabilistic modeling of rock slopes and quantitative risk assessment, analysis and management of risks associated with geotechnical hazards and tailing dam failures, mine environmental monitoring using remote sensing, big data and AI in the mining life cycle, virtual/augmented/mixed reality (VR/AR/MR) and serious gaming for technical training and collaborative decision making.
