Off Earth Mining? Watch this Space…

2:55 PM - 3:05 PM

Abstract

Biography

Nicholas Bennett has extensive experience at the intersection of finance and computation. Analysis, design, and development for financial risk management and trading systems. Long time horizons, high initial investments, and uncertainties challenge the utility of standard risk practices. New tools and techniques could help generate investment by defending and communicating the risk and reward for a proposal. Published work includes; examining the advantages of using GTOs as a novel delivery orbit for lunar propellant, of oxygen as the primary product of a water mine, and rearchitecting proposals to take advantage of scaling laws to drive down costs.
