Nicolas (Nick) Carter has 27 years of nuclear industry experience and currently holds the position of Executive Vice President, Uranium at UxC, LLC (UxC). He is responsible for managing and coordinating uranium consulting projects and products, including the Ux Weekly, Uranium Market Outlook, Uranium Suppliers Annual, and Uranium Production Cost Study. Mr. Carter has extensive and varied expertise, providing strategic consulting to major commercial companies in the nuclear fuel industry, and advising government and international organizations on uranium market and policy issues. He specializes in economic analysis and forecasting of the uranium market, specifically in the areas of worldwide U3O8 production capability, production costs, and price projections.
Prior to joining UxC in 1997, Mr. Carter was a senior fuel cycle analyst at NAC International, where he helped develop the Windows-based Uranium Supply Analysis (USA) System, an interactive computer system on global U3O8 production capabilities, production costs, and price projections. His primary responsibilities included the preparation and coordination of analyses of the commercial and technical aspects of the worldwide uranium, conversion, enrichment, and fabrication markets. Mr. Carter also served as primary analyst for the back-end of the nuclear fuel market and maintained NAC’s Fuel-Trac and research reactor databases.
In 1991, Mr. Carter earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Furman University, and formerly served as an officer in the U.S. Army. Mr. Carter, a dual citizen of the U.S. and France, is trilingual (fluent in German and proficient in French) and has spent a number of years living abroad.
Mr. Carter has presented at various nuclear industry conferences, including the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), World Nuclear Association (WNA), AusIMM, and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Additionally, Mr. Carter has been widely interviewed by multiple media outlets, including Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), Fox Business, The Money Show, Bloomberg, Forbes, Fortune, Reuters, The Christian Science Monitor, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.

Patrick is a leader in the mining and geoscience consulting industry with 8 years’ experience in the applied economic geology of uranium deposits. He is a Chartered Scientist with the Institute of Minerals, Materials & Mining, and has worked at TradeTech, a US-based nuclear fuel cycle consultant and uranium price reporter, since 2015. He specializes in providing technical advice, training, and mentoring in all aspects of orebody knowledge, including exploration, resource reporting, mine geology, asset appraisal, production economics and nuclear fuel market intelligence. Patrick is also a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and a Fellow of the United States Society of Economic Geologists.

Mr. Ma is the director of Capital Operation Department in CGN Mining(1164.HK). He joined CGN Uranium Resources Co., Ltd., the mother company of CGN Mining in 2010. His role was to secure the uranium supply for CGN's fast growing nuclear fleet. He has decade long experience in nuclear sector, especially in uranium trading and uranium projects' M&A. Mr. Ma holds a Bachelor of Economics and a MEcons. from Renmin University of China.
